NGOs, Community Groups, Charities

We engage with NGOs, community groups and charities on a range of interesting challenges such as the preparation of tree planting strategies, the development of new metrics, and large-scale fund allocation programmes.

This engagement can either be channeled through an existing NGO or charity with its own developed organisational structure, or it can occur directly with community groups with an interest in developing the urban forest in which they live and work.

Treeconomics has developed a range of communication strategies for working with groups whose priority is community engagement. These often include workshops and consultations, where the aim is to demystify urban forest management and facilitate engagement and participation.

Treeconomics then works with the NGO, charity, or individual group, to facilitate urban forest development on a manageable scale which is focused on the vision the community has identified through consultation.
