Government Departments and Agencies

Government departments and agencies often have significant land holding of their own, or act in an advisory capacity to other landholders. The Treeconomics team is able to adapt its specialist knowledge of the urban forest to meet the requirements of such agencies, whether this be used in the direct analysis of specific areas of tree cover, or in specialised data analysis as a supplementary service. With an ever-developing environmental policy framework, the Treeconomics team is also able to engage in the development of new and existing tools to meet emerging requirements of individual clients.

We have extensive experience of working with government departments and agencies, including Forest Research, The Forestry Commission, The Environment Agency and National Highways, and have developed an understanding of the working practices within these.
