During this second webinar in our winter series, Kenton Rogers of Treeconomics will be interviewing Dr Mark Johnston about his new book, ‘Planting Ideas in the Urban Forest: Autobiography of a Tree Expert’.
Mark is an independent scholar of arboriculture, landscape and urban forestry, and has over fifty years’ experience in the tree world. He has worked as a tree surgery contractor, tree officer in local government, consultant in private practice, government adviser, and university academic. Mark’s autobiography talks about a lifetime spent in arboriculture, his work with urban communities around the world, and his mission to connect people with the trees around them. The book is full of ideas and approaches to urban greening that are drawn from extensive practical experience.
It includes plenty of previously unpublished information and revealing insights from a personal perspective. So join us, as we delve into the book that “…took me 50 years to write!”.
We will host a live Q&A at the end… bring your thoughts and questions!
